DALLAS, TEXAS — Today, the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries opened the application for grants to help school libraries update and diversify their book collections. Since its inception in 2002, the Laura Bush Foundation has awarded $24 million to over 4,200 schools across the country.
Eligible schools include any Title 1 public school, including charters and magnets, and any private or parochial school with at least 50% of their student body qualifying for financial aid.
