As the Freedom Collection looks forward to International Women’s Day this Friday, March 8, we want to share the inspirational stories that affirm human freedom is not limited by gender, race, or creed.  Countless women have contributed to the cause of liberty for which they deserve our recognition and praise, whether it be prominent political leaders like Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf or unsung freedom activists like Samar El Hussieny.  If you haven’t seen it, watch the Freedom Collection’s short documentary on Women as Human Rights Defenders.  It reminds us that every woman living under oppression has the right to be free:
