Igor Khrestin, the Bradford M. Freeman Managing Director of Global Policy, joined the Global Taiwan Institute delegation in Taiwan for a discussion on policy priorities and challenges facing Taiwan’s new administrations. The delegation met with Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen in Taipei on March 22. The group discussed Taiwan’s continued relationship with the U.S. and the country’s goal of advancing international development and prosperity.
“Your visit further solidifies the foundations for exchanges between Taiwan and the U.S.,” President Ing-wen said.
