The Military Warriors Support Foundation was created as a result of founder Lt. General Leroy Sisco when he saw the many difficulties that our current generation of wounded heroes and surviving families face as they reentered the civilian world. The 501 (c)(3) organization was established to honor and assist our combat wounded veterans and surviving spouses with the everyday challenges that they and their loved ones face during this period. Although their lives will never be the same, it is our desire to provide them with practical opportunities to ensure a very positive and successful future.
In 2010, we launched the Homes4WoundedHeroes and, soon after, the Homes4GoldStars Programs. Together, these programs have awarded more than 400 wounded heroes and surviving spouses of Operation Enduring Freedom and/or Operation Iraqi Freedom, with 100% mortgage-free homes across the US. Along with the mortgage-free home, each family is also enrolled in a free, 3-year Financial and Family Mentoring Program that has helped these families to pay off more than $2.5 million in debt! These programs not only changes the lives of our heroes and spouses, but it also changes the lives of the generations that follow.
These programs, along with our Skills4Life program allow our wounded heroes and the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, to focus on healing wounds, bringing the family closer together, and preparing for a successful future.
