Jeremy L. Katz is the President and Chief Operating Officer of D1 Capital Partners. D1 is a global investment firm that operates across public and private markets. Prior to D1, Mr. Katz served as Deputy Director of the White House National Economic Council. In that role, he coordinated economic policy design and implementation on a broad range of issues, including the landmark tax reform act of 2017. He also served as a member of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board.
Prior to his NEC position, Mr. Katz was a Managing Director at GCM Grosvenor. He served in a number of roles in the George W. Bush Administration, including Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and Special Assistant to the President in the office of the White House Chief of Staff. Mr. Katz graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in English and received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
