On November 25, members of the media are invited to participate in a “sneak peek” of Holidays at the Bush Center.

From November 25, 2013 – January 5, 2014, visitors to the Bush Center will enjoy twinkling lights and trimmed trees, special seasonal menu items, limited-edition holiday merchandise and music by local choral groups.  A special exhibit, Home for the Holidays: Christmas at the White House 2001, the first in an annual series of holiday exhibits, offering visitors a glimpse into the 2001 White House holiday celebration.

Because the White House was closed to the public after September 11, 2001 for security reasons, the temporary exhibit will be the first time for many to view the 2001 holiday decorations in person.

Mrs. Laura Bush, Secretary Margaret Spellings, president of the Bush Center, and Alan Lowe, executive director of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, will be on hand to introduce holiday activities and take questions.
