Afghan women and girls have had their opportunities and freedoms once again viciously attacked and repressed. Afghanistan is the only place in the world where girls’ education is banned. But, the situation is not hopeless. There are tangible ways the U.S. and global community can help advance the rights and education of Afghan women and girls.
