Sergeant Major Todd Adams joined the U.S. Army in 1992. Over his 26 years of service, Adams has deployed a total of 14 times to Afghanistan and Iraq. 

In 2003, as a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant deployed in Iraq, Adams was shot in the right hip while on patrol. He returned to Fort Bragg, N.C. to recover. Later that year, Adams was selected for a special mission unit within the U.S. Army Special Operations Command where he served until his retirement in April 2021.

For his service, Adams was awarded five Bronze Stars, two Army Commendation Medals with Valor, the Silver Star, and the Purple Heart.

Adams has been married for 25 years and has four daughters. Golf has been an outlet and opportunity for him to spend time with family and friends.
