
Biography
Specialist Brandon Berry joined the U.S. Army in 1998 as an Infantryman. Brandon deployed to numerous stateside locations and several overseas theaters, to include Bosnia, Kuwait, and Iraq.
In 2003, Berry sustained multiple injuries from a grenade blast during his deployment to Iraq. The injuries sustained included a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), multiple shrapnel injuries, and shoulder damage requiring many surgeries. Shrapnel still remains in his ocular region. In 2004, following shoulder surgery, Berry was medically retired.
After retirement, Berry attended Stephen F. Austin State University and majored in International Studies. In 2008, his senior year, he went to work for Schlumberger Oilfield Services, headquartered in Longview, Texas. Now, he is a Maintenance Manager for field operations covering Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas.
Currently, Berry resides in Edmond, Oklahoma with his girlfriend Megan, and his two labs, Sam (his favorite) and Maci (for sale to a good home).
