Olivia Hernández, Associate, Editorial and Communications, at the George W. Bush Institute, joined the team in October of 2024 to support ongoing editorial, podcasts, and domestic policy work.

Prior to joining the Bush Center, Hernández served as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth where she was part of the major rebranding the Council underwent in 2023. She began her career at the University of Dallas as the Campus Visit Coordinator and then Marketing and Communications Manager of Undergraduate Admissions.

Hernández is originally from Waco, TX. She is a graduate of the University of Dallas with a B.A. in Comparative Literature and a concentration in Spanish and the Jagiellonian University of Krakow, Poland with a M.A. in Transatlantic/Cultural Studies.
