Megan Best

Megan Best serves as Director of Strategic Programming and Events for the George W. Bush Presidential Center where she is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning , scheduling, and all events hosted by the Bush Center.

Previously, she served as an Event Manager where she planned and executed various events, most notably leading the efforts of the 2021 Forum on Leadership; Campaign Celebration in Kennebunkport, Maine; and numerous development and program dinners. 

Prior to joining the Bush Center in 2018, Ms. Best served as the District Director for U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson where she managed the planning and execution of all district events. Previously, Best served as the Deputy Campaign Manager for Congressman Jodey Arrington’s Texas Senatorial campaign.  Best began her career interning for Congressman Ralph Hall in the summer of 2014.

Ms. Best received her bachelor’s degree in business administration (management and marketing) at Texas Tech University. She resides in Dallas with her husband.
