Former White House Social Secretary

Lea Berman served as White House social secretary and special assistant to the president from 2004 to 2007, was chief of staff to Second Lady Lynn Cheney from 2002 to 2003, and was social secretary to the vice president from 2001 to 2002.  She has worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies at Georgetown University and at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and she ran her own fundraising and event-planning business. She is the creator of the blog America's Table and co-author of Treating People Well with Jeremy Bernard.
