Amanda Wirtz serves as an Advisor for Education and Opportunity at the Bush Institute.  In this role she supports Accountability in Education programming.

Before joining the Bush Institute, Wirtz served as an educational and general management consultant providing thought leadership, research and data analytics for non-profit organizations, schools, and institutions of higher education. Over her career, she held a variety of administrative and operational roles at institutes of higher education, Kaplan, Inc, and Google.  Her work included human capital management, marketing, growth strategy, systemic improvements, and curriculum development.

Wirtz received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Brigham Young University and her master’s degree in education with an emphasis in human development and psychology from Harvard University.
