Education Reform

STRIVING TO INCREASE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AND QUALITY SCHOOLS FOR EVERY CHILD IN THE U.S.

The Bush Institute’s Education Reform initiative aims to help increase student achievement for every child and improve the quality of our schools. Our efforts are focused on accountability, principal leadership, and middle school.

Our accountability projects showcase data, transparency, and the need for strong accountability in education. The Bush Institute’s Alliance to Reform Education Leadership (AREL) partners with nationally-known research organizations to generate new research to advance the field of principal leadership.  Our Middle School Matters initiative provides middle school teachers and school leaders with proven, research-based teaching strategies to increase student achievement and strategies for identifying students at-risk of dropping out.
