Bush-Cheney Alumni members are those individuals who served in George W. Bush's administration, including full-time or part-time political appointees, full-time campaign staff, and volunteer White House advance. If you served in the Bush Administration and have not yet registered as alumni with the Bush Center, you can register online now.
Announcements - May 2014
New Alumni Programming
A priority at the Bush Center is to engage our valued alumni and integrate their talent and experiences into our work. We are excited to announce new alumni special events and programming.
Complimentary Bush Library and Museum Tickets for Alumni
We are now offering an inaugural complimentary Museum admission benefit for all registered alumni. Each registered alumni member is eligible to request a 2014 complimentary Museum admission ticket for himself or herself and one guest. Requests should be made at least two weeks in advance to allow us time to purchase the tickets from the National Archives and Records Administration. Requests can be made here.
We are beginning to facilitate the hosting of social events with Bush-Cheney Alumni in cities around the country. The first regional alumni event was held May 7 in New York City.
Additionally, we will be issuing targeted, regional invitations for alumni to attend Bush Center events in Dallas and around the country when possible. Bush-Cheney Alumni can update contact information (for regional events) and Administration experience (for targeted invitations) here.
Over 2,000 alumni were able to attend the Dedication festivities in 2013, and the Bush-Cheney Alumni Reunion was especially a big hit. The Bush Center will continue to host regular all-alumni reunions in Dallas every five years. The next one will take place in 2018.
We want our alumni to know what’s happening – at the Bush Center, with President and Mrs. Bush, and with fellow alumni. Starting in June, registered alumni can expect to receive regular monthly alumni emails as well as occasional breaking news emails.
This is just the beginning. We want to use the knowledge and experience of alumni to advance our work and programs, and we will continue to develop more ways to involve alumni at the Bush Center.
