Pioneer Woman
A Conversation with The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, and Her Daughters, Alex and Paige

The Bush Center welcomes back The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, with the release of her new cookbook, The Essential Recipes. Ree will join her daughters, Alex and Paige, for a conversation about this labor of love and what she refers to as the “recipe bible.” Join us to hear more from The Pioneer Woman on how she re-examined, re-worked, re-tested these recipes so dear to her heart.

Each ticket purchase comes with The Essential Recipes cookbook, which will be pre-signed by The Pioneer Woman and available for pick up at the event. When checking out, please be sure to select “pick up” as delivery method before finalizing your transaction.

Acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns, co-director of the forthcoming documentary The American Revolution, joins Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and author of the #1 New York Times bestseller, THE FATE OF THE DAYRick Atkinson for a wide-ranging conversation on the dreams, dilemmas and defining choices of our founding.

Together, they’ll explore how the Revolution shaped our national identity, the stories still untold, and what it means to commemorate a beginning that continues to challenge and inspire. Moderated by Bush Center CEO Shilo Brooks, this event invites audiences to consider not just where we came from — but where we’re headed.

Extended Hours and Free Admission at the George W. Bush Presidential Museum on Veterans Day
Tuesday, November 11, 2025
9:00 am – 8:00 pm CT

Admission to the Bush Museum will be FREE for all visitors in honor of Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, courtesy of Sewell Automotive Companies. The Bush Museum will also have extended evening hours from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on these days.
