Leaderboards of All Kinds

September 19, 2013 2 minute Read by Hannah Abney

We're paying attention to a lot of leaderboards at The Bush Center today.

One is the leaderboard for next week's Warrior Open, a 36-hole golf tournament featuring U.S. servicemen wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan. This year, we’re kicking off the tournament with a Pro-Am featuring PGA Tour pros and the 24 Warriors selected to play in this year’s event. If you've never tuned in to the Warrior Open, you can do so here on September 26-28th.  And today we're putting final touches on the leaderboard we've featured inyears past, so that you keep up with your favorite player.

The other leaderboard on our radar screen today is the one keeping score of the millions of dollars generous North Texans are contributing  to North Texas Giving Day. Today, donations of $25 or more can be made until midnight to more than 1,000 certified nonprofits listed on www.DonorBridgeTx.org. If you plan to contribute to North Texas Giving Day this year, we hope you’ll consider choosing The Bush Center here, helping us climb to the top of the North Texas Giving Day Leaderboard. If you want to learn more about our work, please visit www.bushcenter.org.
