Justine Sterling Converse serves as Director of Events for the George W. Bush Presidential Center. In this role, Converse provides leadership, strategic initiative, and management of all events and event staff for the Bush Center.
Converse joined the Bush Center in March 2011 as a member of the events team, primarily focused on creating and implementing the military events, including the W100K mountain bike ride and Warrior Open golf tournament. She then took on a dual role as Director of External Affairs in 2012, managing the engagement of Bush administration alumni in the work of the Bush Center. Prior to joining the Bush Center, Converse worked in the Office of George W. Bush (OGWB), where she served as assistant to the chief of staff and helped with scheduling and events for President Bush. Before moving to Dallas in 2009 to work in the OGWB, she worked in the White House Social Office, where she helped coordinate events for President and Mrs. Bush.
A native of Kansas, Converse graduated cum laude from Kansas State University with a bachelor of science in agricultural communications and journalism, and a minor in agricultural economics.
