Emily Casarona is an Associate for the Military Service Initiative (MSI) at the George W. Bush Institute in Dallas, Texas. In this role, she oversees and coordinates Team 43 Sports activities, and assists with MSI events, conferences and day-to-day activities. Emily is the liaison within the MSI program, and interacts with military veterans and their families, businesses, non-profit organizations, academic partners and affiliates. Prior to joining the Bush Institute, Emily founded and operated her own public relations company in Scottsdale, AZ.
In the George W. Bush administration, Emily served as Acting Regional Representative at the U.S. Department of Education based in Arizona. Before moving to Arizona, Emily worked as Senior Communications Director for Communications and Outreach and served in several other capacities for the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS., Emily worked in both non-profit and private business before beginning her public service career.
