The George W. Bush Presidential Center is proud to host Lynne Cheney as she discusses her newest book, James Madison: A Life Reconsidered.

In this majestic new biography, Mrs. Cheney explores the astonishing story of a man of vaunted modesty who audaciously changed the world. Among the Founding Fathers, Madison was a true genius of the early republic. His visionary political philosophy and rationale for the union of states—so eloquently presented in the Federalist papers—helped shape the country Americans live in today.

Tickets must be pre-purchased. Tickets will go on sale online May 1, 2014.

Please use the George W. Bush Institute entrance on Bush Avenue (west side of building).

Parking

Self-parking is available, free of charge, for guests in the Bush Center parking lot located just north of the Bush Center. Please note that parking in this lot is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Limited additional parking for event guests is available in various parking garages on the SMU campus. The Moody Parking Garage is located within a short walking distance of the Bush Center. Guests may park in the Moody Parking Garage for a small fee. For additional information regarding campus parking, please click here.

No food or drink is permitted in the George W. Bush Institute Auditorium.
