A Conversation with Dana Perino

Event

March 12, 2021

Tickets to this event included a signed copy of Dana Perino’s newest book.

On March 11, the Bush Center welcomed back Fox News Channel’s Dana Perino to discuss her new book, Everything Will Be Okay: Life Lessons for Young Women (from a Former Young Woman), which will be published on March 9.

In a conversation moderated by former U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, Dana talks about the book, along with her thoughts on current events and reflections on her time as White House Press Secretary. The focus of the book is advice on navigating the workplace and life without compromising who you are or your values. It’s chock full of great stories from her time growing up in Wyoming and Colorado, her early days as a local reporter, her unconventional path to working at the White House, and more. While it’s geared to young women looking to reframe their thinking, to believe in themselves, to take risks, to understand their power, and to feel better overall, the book is really for anyone who has a woman in their life who they are trying to help or support.

Dana is the co-anchor of “America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer & Dana Perino” from 9-11 a.m. ET and co-host of “The Five” at 5 p.m. ET.
