California: Dream Big
Our Women's Initiative Fellows recently returned from the Silicon Valley where they met with leaders from Facebook, Google, Twitter, Intel, Cisco, LinkedIn and Oracle. Our youngest Fellow, Nesrine (22), never thought she'd be meeting with representatives or touring the campuses of these impressive companies. “When I was younger, I just used to look for pictures of Silicon Valley,” she said. “And I dreamed of being there one day, and that just wasn’t possible for me.” Nesrine's dream became reality last week.
