This week, Director of Education Reform Dr. Kerri Briggs responds to a National Journal piece on the reauthorization of No Child Left Behind. Because of the law, more students are learning at higher levels than before, especially poor and minority students, and every school is held accountable for results. Dr. Briggs walks through a number of key lessons learned and discusses how best to look at updating the law to reflect new realities and capabilities.
