Miral is a Creative Director at Creative Lab, a leading advertising agency in Egypt. In association with Teenstuff Magazine, Egypt’s best-selling English magazine, Miral developed and executed a television advertisement in nine different languages titled “Support Freedom, Visit Egypt” to promote tourism after the revolution.
Miral is the Co-founder of Nawarny, a political group formed after the onset of the revolution. Nawarny, which means “enlightenment,” was created to spread political awareness. The organization gained enough momentum within its first few hours to elicit a confrontation with the Muslim Brotherhood in Tahrir Square.
Miral hopes for a future in which women are educated, politically engaged, independent and free.
