May Zaw Naing is a medical doctor in the mental health sector serving numerous local and international organizations. She helps traumatized people develop skills to manage mental health issues. May Zaw Naing is also a program director at Citta Consultancy, where she provides psychosocial health training and oversees outreach programs to develop human capital. As an executive committee member of the General Practitioners’ Society in Yangon, May Zaw Naing organizes workshops on medical governance and ethics, psychotherapy, stigmatized mental disorders, and primary trauma care. She also leads young general practitioners on volunteer mobile health trips and conducts psycho-education workshops in underserved ethnic regions. Additionally, she provides medical care for orphans and AIDS patients, founded and runs the Physicians for Human Rights Myanmar, and is a graduate of the DeBoer Fellowship.
