Frida serves as the Senior Editor of Maghreb Women Magazine. As Editor, Frida is responsible for editing and planning with the members of the editorial team to ensure a publication gets out the door on schedule for readers to enjoy. As a creative manager, she helps determine content for each edition of the publication, leads article idea generation meetings, and determines which articles will go in each section of the magazine.
A native of Tunis, Frida graduated from Faculty of Humanities of Tunis, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
Frida began her career as a clinical psychologist by providing psychosocial support to vulnerable people as well refugees of Choucha Camp on the borders during the Libyan Revolution. Frida followed up with several trainings on refugees’ rights, but also in social work with the association to fight against economic and social vulnerability of women. In her role, she was most interested in educational policies, psychology, human rights, leadership, and women’s empowerment.
