Emily Casarona manages the Team 43 Sports and Alumni Program for the Military Service Initiative (MSI) at the George W. Bush Institute in Dallas, Texas. In this role, she oversees and coordinates programmatic activities for veterans, servicemembers and their families, including the W100K, the Warrior Open, and the newly created Alumni Program. Emily is the liaison within the MSI program and interacts on behalf of Team 43 with businesses, non-profit organizations, academic partners and affiliates. Prior to joining the Bush Institute, Emily founded and operated her own public relations company in Scottsdale, AZ.
In the George W. Bush administration, Emily served as Acting Regional Representative at the U.S. Department of Education based in Arizona. Before moving to Arizona, Emily worked as Senior Communications Director for Communications and Outreach and served in several other capacities for the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, Emily worked in both non-profit and private business before beginning her public service career.
