Sergeant Brian Saaristo served in the U.S. Army twice.  He first enlisted in 1981 and served for six years.  He then served a second time with the 2/320 fa out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky until he was injured on May 2, 2006, in the town of Kurkuk, Iraq.  Sergeant Saaristo has received many awards including the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.  He is also Air Assault qualified.   He loves hunting, golfing and being a husband and father.
