Aye Aye San

Liberty and Leadership Scholar 2016 (Burma)

Aye Aye San is a Project Manager for the Center for Good Governance (CGG) project in Kayah State and Bago region. In this capacity, she supports the emergence of inclusive and responsive public institutions, policies, and practices in Burma, overseeing programs that develop local governance systems while ensuring constructive engagement of civil society and the inclusion of marginalized groups.

Prior to joining CGG, Aye Aye San held supervisory and managerial positions with the People’s Alliance for Credible Elections, International Federation of Red Cross, International Organization for Migration, People in Need, the Myat Myanmar Humanitarian Assistance Group, and the Myanmar Survey Research. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Yangon University and a Master of Development Studies from the Institutes of Economics.
