We invite you to stay for Navigating Turbulence: Senatorial Insights on Geopolitics & Foreign Policy – part of our popular series of public programming, Engage at the Bush Center, presented by NexPoint. This Engage program will feature U.S. Senator James Lankford (R-OK) and former Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX). Along with Bush Institute Executive Director David J. Kramer, Senator Lankford and Senator Hutchison will participate in a compelling conversation on geopolitical hotspots and how the United States can best navigate today’s foreign policy challenges.

* Note: In consideration of our speakers and guests in attendance, the program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Please plan accordingly to avoid any delays in your arrival.


ADA and Accessibility Information

Please refer to the parking maps below for the best accessible routes as well as drop-off and pick-up points. If you plan to walk from the Bush Center Visitor Parking Lot, you can expect it to be about a 10-minute walk.

Accessible seating is available at the entry-level of the auditorium. All other accessible seating is subject to the configuration for the various events.

Event Parking

We have very limited parking on campus. Please note the parking options below.

Valet Parking Services

Paid valet parking is available to our guests at $20 per vehicle for this event. You can find the valet services at the designated location on the map below. Please note the physical address of the Bush Institute is 6100 Bush Avenue, on the west side of the complex. Guests may pay with cash or the Venmo app upon their departure.


Bush Center Parking

Limited event parking will be available in the designated lots as parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please refer to the map below for the most direct route to the Bush Institute. When using the crosswalk between the parking lot and the Bush Center, please make sure to illuminate the lights to let drivers know you are crossing.

  • Bush Center Visitor Parking Lot – 6222 Bush Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75205 (Allow for a 10 minute walk)
  • Bush Center Boedecker Parking Lot – 6137 Boedeker Dr., Dallas, Texas 75205 (Allow for a 12 to 15 minute walk)

Ride-Share

Using a ride-share service is highly encouraged. Drivers may drop off and pick up at the designated location on the map below. Please note the physical address of the Bush Institute is 6100 Bush Avenue, on the west side of the complex. The main Bush Museum entrance on SMU Boulevard will not be open.


Check-In and Security Information

Check-in will take place on March 18, 2025, when doors open at 5:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Bush Institute. You will be required to present a photo ID and proceed through security screening.
