Greetings from the George W. Bush Institute,
First, I would like to thank you for your continued service to your constituents. Second, I want to inform you and your team about a mental and brain health care resource available to veterans, service members, and their families.
Check-In, powered by the Veteran Wellness Alliance, provides access to no-cost, high-quality mental and brain health care for veterans, service members, and their families. In 2022, Check-In was able to provide coverage across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Along with our nine clinical partners and nine peer network partners, Check-In has connected with almost 2,000 individuals across the country with 950 of those being guided on a personalized journey of care.
Following the recommendations from congressional staff we have met with in Washington, D.C., we are now reaching out to district offices to offer Check-In as a resource for veteran case managers across the country. We hope you will share this resource with your constituents.
If you would like to learn more about Check-In and how it can help your case managers assist the veteran and military family communities in your districts, please contact us at info@veteranwellnessalliance.org.
Very respectfully,
Jason J. Galui, LTC, USA, Retired
Director, Veterans and Military Families
