Dear Veteran Leadership Program alumni,
Every January when we get to read the hundreds of applications for the new cohort of our Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program, I’m incredibly inspired and hopeful for our country and our world. And with more than 200 alumni, the future of this program and its impact are bright. It’s been a privilege to know you and learn from you.
With that, I’m writing with some personal news. After 10 amazing years at the Bush Institute, I am heading to the University of Florida. I’ve accepted a new role as the Director of Special Projects in the Office of the President. This is a bittersweet moment for me; I will miss working with the amazing Veteran Leadership Program team and with you all.
My last official day at the Bush Institute is Jan. 31, but I will still be around part time, teaching for the next Veteran Leadership Program class and supporting evaluation efforts at the Bush Institute over the next several months. Please keep in touch – you all know I’m always up for chatting about evaluation and surveys and good books you are reading. You can reach me at evamyrick@gmail.com.
I will forever be cheering you on and rooting for your success.
Thanks for all you do.
Sincerely,
Eva Chiang
