What time should I arrive?
This is a come and go event. Vendors will be set up starting at 10:00 a.m. to greet our furry friends.
What should I wear?
We recommend dressing comfortably for outdoor weather.
What should I bring?
- Waste bags for your dog. Trash cans are located throughout the park to dispose of these items.

Consider bringing sunscreen and a hat.

Please be aware that there might be ants or other insects in the park. There are two active beehives on the west side of the park.
Trail Information
Paved walkways lead to the entrance of the Native Texas Park. The park contains a one-mile network of both decomposed granite and mulched trails. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking the trails. Please stay on the pathways and lawns to avoid trampling the wildflowers.
Event Parking
Limited event parking will be available in the Bush Center visitor lot located directly across the street from the George W. Bush Presidential Museum entrance (please reference the map below). Parking in these lots is available on a first-come, first-served basis. When using the crosswalk between the parking lot and the Bush Center, please make sure to illuminate the lights to let drivers know you are crossing.
Visitors will be charged $10 per car for the first 4 hours and $1.00 for each additional 30 minutes. Visitors pay by credit card upon exiting the parking lot.
