It’s NTX Giving Day! Every year, the Communities Foundation of Texas designates a day to celebrate and encourage people to contribute to the nonprofit organizations making an impact in North Texas, including the George W. Bush Presidential Center.

Support the Bush Center this North Texas Giving Day
The George W. Bush Presidential Center features a beautiful 15-acre park, which is the perfect complement to a visit to the Bush Center. The Laura W. Bush Native Texas Park reflects President and Mrs. Bush’s love of the native Texas landscape and their commitment to conservation. Tucked in the heart of Dallas, the park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, offering the North Texas community year-round access to connect with nature, right in their own neighborhood.
By preserving native habitats and showcasing sustainable landscaping practices, the park serves as a living classroom – educating visitors of all ages about Texas ecology and the importance of environmental stewardship.
Free guided walking tours with master naturalists each Saturday provide a deeper look into the park’s ecosystem, and the pet-friendly trails invite individuals and families to enjoy the space. The park will even welcome four-legged visitors and their families this October for Pups in the Park, a free community event featuring nature walks and dog-friendly vendors.
We have a shared responsibility to protect the natural beauty of our region. With your help, we can keep our park thriving and grow something lasting for both our environment and our community.
