The incredible story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only Black Women’s Army Corps unit in World War II, comes to the Bush Center. Edna Cummings, who produced a documentary on the Six Triple Eight in 2019 and has passionately – and successfully – advocated for the battalion to be recognized with the Congressional Gold Medal.
