Thank you for kindly welcoming me as the new President and CEO of the George W. Bush Presidential Center. It was a pleasure to be with you last week at the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, and I hope you enjoyed seeing President Bush’s paintings from his Out of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants collection.

I was drawn to the Bush Center, first and foremost, because of my deep admiration for President and Mrs. Bush. I believe that the Bush Center is uniquely positioned to lead a national conversation about the enduring principles and ideas that animate the American spirit. Everything we do is guided by those principles – freedom, opportunity, accountability, and compassion.

I would love to welcome you to the Bush Center and I invite you to check out our upcoming fall events or a holiday party, an exclusive opportunity for our loyal supporters. I am excited about the new chapter ahead, and I intend to engage deeply and meaningfully with you as we work to weave American ideals into the fabric of our civic life.

Sincerely,

Shilo Brooks
President and Chief Executive Officer
