Thank you for registering to attend our event, Bush Museum After Hours: A Conversation with WWII Pilot John "Lucky" Luckadoo and Author Dr. Donald L. Miller on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the George W. Bush Presidential Museum.

5:00 p.m.	Check-in opens at the Bush Museum entrance
6:00 p.m.	Program promptly begins*
7:00 p.m.	Program concludes Note: The Bush Museum permanent exhibit in The Boeing Company Exhibition Gallery and special exhibit in The Bradford M. Freeman Exhibition Gallery will be open.
7:00 – 8:00 p.m.	Meet and greet with speakers
8:00 p.m.	Exhibits and Museum Store close

* Note: In consideration of our speakers and guests in attendance, the program will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Please plan accordingly to avoid any delays for your arrival.

Event Parking

We have very limited parking on campus. Please note the parking options below.

Ride Share

Using a ride-share service is highly encouraged. Drivers may drop off and pick up at the designated location on the map below. Please note the physical address of the Bush Museum is 2943 SMU Boulevard.

Bush Center Parking

Limited event parking will be available in the Bush Center visitor lot located directly across the street from the Bush Museum entrance (please reference the map below). Parking in these lots is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

When using the crosswalk between the parking lot and the Bush Center, please make sure to illuminate the lights to let drivers know you are crossing.

Books: Purchase a Signed Copy

Pre-signed copies of the books, Damn Lucky and Masters of the Air are available for purchase while supplies last.

When checking out online, please select pick up for the delivery method to receive your book purchase at the event. Books may be picked up on event day upon your arrival.

Check-In and Security

Check-in will take place on July 11, 2024, when doors open at 5:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Bush Museum. You will be required to present a photo ID and proceed through security screening.

Prohibited items

Prior to your arrival, review our list of prohibited items below.

No weapons of any type, including pocketknives or guns are allowed inside the facility.
No outside food and drink.
Large bags and backpacks are not permitted. Only one purse or diaper bag is allowed per person, and bags cannot be larger than 17 × 26 inches (43 × 66 centimeters) in size.

Cash Bar

Beverages and a small selection of snacks will be available to purchase at the cash bar.

Seating

Seating for this event will be general admission. Seats will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
