The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum announced today that it plans to offer free admission to all veterans, retirees, active duty, National Guard, Reserve, and Coast Guard service members on Veterans Day.

“Every single one of our service members, both past and present, has selflessly served this great nation and we are honored to have the opportunity to show our gratitude,” said Alan Lowe, the director of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.

The Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Veterans Day and the offer is good for all tickets sold at the admissions desk that day, but not applicable to tickets sold on-line. Any service member participating in the free admission offer will be asked to show a form of identification upon purchasing their tickets.

Located on the campus of Southern Methodist University – which is a nationally ranked private university in Dallas enrolling nearly 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students from throughout the world in seven degree-granting schools – the facility is the 13th Presidential Library administered by National Archives and Records Administration.
