Congratulations to Bank of America on 2013 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award

This week, Bank of America was named a 2013 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award recipient, the highest award given to companies for support of their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. This is a well-deserved and distinguished recognition for a company truly committed to improving the well-being of our veterans.

As one of the George W. Bush Institute’s supporters and partners on our Military Service Initiative, Bank of America has joined us in our commitment to spotlight and support organizations that fulfill the needs of veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Through the Military Service Initiative, teams led by distinguished veterans work to find solutions to the obstacles facing our men and women in the military and establish a national leadership model to support our nation’s heroes.

The Bush Institute is grateful to Bank of America for their generous support of the Military Service Initiative and proud to stand alongside them to honor the service and sacrifice of our military men and women. Bank of America indeed goes above and beyond to support our military, and the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award is richly deserved.
