Eric Morath and Tom Barkley, The Wall Street Journal The productivity of U.S. workers declined more than initially thought during the first quarter of the year, yet another sign of sputtering economic growth. Nonfarm business productivity, the output per hour of all workers, fell at a 0.9% annual rate in the first three months of 2012, a larger decline than the 0.5% drop reported last month, the Labor Department said Wednesday. Unit labor costs increased a more mild 1.3% during the period, compared to a first report of a 2.0% gain. Read More (Subscription Required)
