Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush Share The Magic of Sisterhood in Their First Children’s Book, Sisters First, at the Bush Center

DALLAS (November 12, 2019) – On November 17, former first daughters Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush will discuss their first children’s book, Sisters First, at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. The book illustrates the magic of sisterhood, and how we are all stronger, braver, and smarter when we stick together. Jenna and Barbara will discuss how important it is to put your loved ones first, including personal stories of what it was like growing up together in the White House.  The conversation will be moderated by Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, editor-at-large of Southern Living magazine. Auditorium seating is sold out, and a limited number of overflow tickets remain available. The program will be live streamed at bushcenter.org and via Facebook Live.

The Engage at the Bush Center, presented by Highland Capital Management series brings newsmakers, thought leaders, and authors to the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Thought-provoking – and often entertaining – panel discussions and keynote conversations allow our guests to connect with the Bush Center in a meaningful way and dive deeper into many of today’s most pressing policy areas and issues.
