Remembering President George H. W. Bush

“Engage at the Bush Center, Presented by Highland Capital Management” honors President George H. W. Bush in two-part program

DALLAS (February 6, 2019) – On February 19, the George W. Bush Presidential Center will present “Remembering President George H. W. Bush,” part of the “Engage at the Bush Center, Presented by Highland Capital Management” series.  The sold-out event will be livestreamed at bushcenter.org, and via Facebook Live and Twitter.

The evening will begin with an intimate conversation with Secretary James Baker, dear friend and former U.S. Secretary of State and White House Chief of Staff under President George H.W. Bush, moderated by Talmage Boston.

The second panel will feature former personal aides, David Bates, Tom Frechette, and Tim McBride, whose combined tenure spanned four decades, providing unique — and entertaining — perspectives of working closely with President Bush before, during, and after 41’s presidency.

The Engage public programming series brings newsmakers, thought leaders, and innovators to the Bush Center. Thought-provoking lectures and discussions allow visitors to connect with the Bush Center in a new way and dive deeper into many of the issues and policy areas that matter most.
