Director of Philanthropy and Military Affairs
Veteran US Navy

Born and raised in the Dallas area, Tim is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He was a 4 year letterman in football at Navy and was named to College Football News All-Independent Team in 1999. Tim is also a member of the 1996 Aloha Bowl Championship Team.

Over the course of his career with the Navy he deployed three times as an F-18 Hornet pilot, including two deployments to the Western Pacific and one deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tim accumulated over 1800 flight hours and 300 carrier landings. He served as a CDR in the navy reserves at C3F Maritime Air Operations Det Fort Worth from 2011-2015 and recently joined AFRICOM Det Fort Worth.

Tim joined JCPenney in October 2012, where he served as Director of Military & Veteran Initiatives until Dec 2013. Tim was recalled to active duty for the entirety of 2014. He served as the Air Liaison Officer for the 449 Air Expeditionary Group in Djibouti, Africa. He returned to JCPenney in 2015 and assumed the role of Director of Philanthropy & Military Initiatives.

Tim lives in Dallas with his wife Mandy and is the proud father of Brooklynn, Finley, and Matthew.
