Kyi Min Han is a program officer with Thabyay E-learning Platform (TEP), a division of the Thabyay Education Foundation (TEF). He is also a member of the Association of Human Rights Defenders and Promoters (HRDP), where he works on international relations and the translation of official documents.
He helps represent TEF on the Steering Committee of the Myanmar Peace and Rights Consortium (MPRC), which works to secure the civil and political rights of the most disadvantaged groups throughout the country.
As a translator with Amnesty International, Kyi Min Han has helped people from different languages understand each other and worked directly with victims of the human rights violations to explain their rights.
He was born in Mandalay, Burma, in 1981, and earned an Honors Degree in economics in 2005. Kyi Min Han became politically active after studying English in 2007 with Khin Maung Aye, a founding committee member of the National League for Democracy (NLD).
