Jeanne L. Phillips

Jeanne L. Phillips is Senior Vice President for Corporate Engagement and International Relations for Hunt Consolidated, Inc. where she is also President of Hunt Global Partnerships, Inc.

Phillips served President George W. Bush as the U.S. Permanent Representative to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) with Rank of Ambassador in Paris from 2001 until the summer of 2003.  Following both the 2000 and 2004 Bush-Cheney Presidential campaigns, she was appointed by President Bush to serve as Executive Director and then Chairman of the 54th and 55th Presidential Inaugural Committees.

Phillips is a graduate of SMU and has lived in Dallas for more than three decades. Her current board and committee affiliations include the SMU Board of Trustees, where she chairs the Development and External Affairs committee of the board and also chairs Simmons School of Education Executive Board. In addition, she serves as Chair of the Mayor’s International Advisory Council (MIAC); Director for the John G. Tower Center for Political Studies and on the SMU Taos Executive Board as well as Dedman College Executive Board. She is a member of the board of trustees for American University in Paris, France. Other current community affiliations include UT Southwestern Foundation; Cooper Institute Board of Trustees; Woodrow Wilson Center for International Studies Advisory Board; and the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City. Phillips also serves on the board of Turtle and Hughes Inc. and Murphy, USA as an outside director.
