George W. Bush Presidential Center
Exhibits & Events
Through our three Impact Centers -- Domestic Excellence, Global Leadership, and our Engagement Agenda -- we focus on developing leaders, advancing policy, and taking action to solve today’s most pressing challenges.
The Bush Center welcomes actor Christopher Jackson, Tony Award-nominated for originating the role of George Washington in Broadway’s Hamilton, for a lively conversation on the phenomenon that has propelled Alexander Hamilton and our Founding Fathers into the pop culture mainstream. Jackson, currently co-starring in the popular CBS series, Bull, will be joined onstage by filmmaker Alex Horwitz, director of the PBS special Hamilton’s America, and Yale historian and Hamilton expert Joanne Freeman.
The program will feature clips from Hamilton’s America, which included interviews with President and Mrs. Bush, Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and scenes from the Broadway production.
Tickets include special after-hours entry in the new special exhibit, Portraits of Courage, featuring a collection of oil paintings and stories by President George W. Bush, honoring the sacrifice and courage of America’s military veterans.
This event is sold out but will be streamed live online.
