Everyone loves a good field trip.

If you've ever been on a field trip, hosted a field trip, taken students on a field trip or chaperoned a field trip, you'll likely agree: the occasional opportunity to head out of the classroom and into an enriching real world experience is an engaging adventure that every student should have access to.

That's why the George W. Bush Foundation, with generous support from CFP Foundation and the Longwell Family Foundation, is proud to announce a fund to provide free transportation for qualifying school groups to visit the brand new George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. The program will make it easier for students and teachers to tour educational exhibits on the American Presidency, learn about President and Mrs. Bush, and access resources offered by the Bush Library and Museum. The funds are available for Title I schools in Texas ESC Regions 10 and 11.

And did you know? School groups are granted free admission tickets to the Bush Presidential Library and Museum when a field trip is scheduled one month in advance.

Would you like a student in your life to take a field trip to the Bush Presidential Library and Museum? Funds to reimburse the cost of transportation are currently available, on a first-come, first-served basis, to eligible schools. To apply to participate, schools must meet requirements and fill out the form at http://georgewbushlibrary.smu.edu/~/media/GWBL/Files/PDFs/BusFundsForm_Fillable.pdf.
